At RooozPlanet, we create high-quality toys and children’s apparel designed to inspire creativity, spark imagination, and promote acceptance. Love and passion for our craft drive everything we do, bringing unique and whimsical characters to life.
The name RooozPlanet comes from Rooz Mousavi, a Los Angeles-based product designer with a boundless imagination. A graduate of the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Rooz has spent over 15 years designing for industry giants like Disney, Microsoft, Nokia, and Adidas. While he thrived in the corporate world, his true passion has always been bringing imaginative creatures to life—leading to the birth of the Rooozians.
With a deep love for the toy industry, Rooz has sketched few hundred Rooozians, each with its own quirky and whimsical personality, and new ones emerge every day! These playful creatures lived in his imagination until he finally put pencil to paper and introduced them to the world. His wife, an experienced fashion designer, transformed his sketches into patterns and handmade samples, meticulously searching for the perfect materials and manufacturers. After three years of searching, they finally found a factory that could faithfully bring the Rooozians to life in plush form—exactly as Rooz envisioned.
